Stacey Wood (BSc Hons Sport therapy)

Stacey graduated from the university of gloucestershire in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy, and is now a full member of Society of Sport Therapist (MSST). During the period of the degree Stacey gained experience in both clinic environments and pitch-side first aid in variety of sports and ages, including local football clubs and Swindon town centre of excellence, rugby league and marathon running.

Stacey Wood

Stacey has enjoyed working at the local sports and leisure centre, Next Generation, where she performed as a variety of roles including lifeguard, receptionist and ‘kids coach’. All of these working around people who throughly enjoy participating sports as much as herself where in her past has been a national swimmer, therefore fully understanding sports commitments and injury frustration. This lead onto her desire to be a Sports therapist and help others who are injured.

Stacey was lucky enough to be selected as a London 2012 olympic volunteer as an athlete service member for both the Olympic and Paralympic games.
